I didn't know that people made their own wine....unless you were somebodys Italian grandfather and lived in Old Forge.....Now I find out that the Romanowski's actually sell the supplies to make the wine.....I will have to wait for Nick to let me know how it taste...

Would you believe some OF'ers (moreso of Polish vintage) make a hearty beverage from potatoes too. I think the old country folks called it White Lightningski. It does cause blindness but its well worth it.
I can't believe that Nick left this bottle unguarded. On second thought I can't believe you guys didn't open it right away!
I dunno about potato wine, but the "Old Vine Zinfandel (Vintage 2006)" is a nice full-bodied semi-dry red, a perfect complement for any meal, from fish to beef.
