GOOD-BYE
Not a GOOD BUY
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC H10
There she is all packed up and ready to be sent back to Dell.
The following is for all the people that will google for help with the same problem that I had..
My Computer would not recognize my Camera...
Let me start by saying it is some kind of problem with either Windows XP and The Sony Cybershot and that Memory Stick Pro 4GB..
I have tried everything
Sony says that Windows XP already has the drivers for this camera and there is no need to download their drivers..No Luck......So I downloaded the Sony drivers too...No Luck... I have been in and out of the Device Manager for 5 days straight. After downloading and restarting and uninstalling what seemed like a few hundred times.....No luck

I have updated every driver and even the BIOS (Whatever that is) ....No Luck.
I have shut down the computer, unplugged the power cord, held the start, and restared the computer with the camera plugged in the USB....No Luck
I have tried it in every USB port...No Luck....and Yes my other Camera is working in these ports.
Also have troubleshooted by live chat and on the telephone with Dell, Sony and Microsoft...
Sorry to say...I GIVE UP !!!!!!

Wow, that's crummy. Gotta say I really admire your pluck, tho. Now I know why we haven't heard much from you lately. Painting is much more therapeutic than looking for device drivers...hope the bandaid and paper clip hold up.
